Over seventy years ago, James D. Scully, Sr. founded Scully Company, which has been owned and operated by the Scully family ever since. Operating in diverse locations, with a keen focus on local market knowledge, we have achieved recognition as a leader in the multifamily industry, which remains our specialty.

James D. Scully, Jr.
Jim’s more than 40-year career in real estate encompasses acquisition, development, financing, construction, renovation and management of large-scale apartment and condominium communities for Scully Company and their clients including condominium conversions. A graduate of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, he holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics. He joined the company after serving in in the United States Navy as a Lieutenant. He holds a real estate broker’s license in the states of Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the National Multi Housing Council (Board of Directors), the Institute of Real Estate Management, the Philadelphia Board of Realtors and the Apartment Association of Greater Philadelphia. He also served on the Board of Trustees for the Philadelphia Hospital of Osteopathic Medicine. He is on the Board of the Act II Theatre in Ambler, PA and on the Board of the Walnut Street Theatre in Philadelphia, PA.
Michael has vast experience in the acquisition, development, financing, construction, renovation and management of large-scale high rise and garden apartment and condominium communities. He is active in these capacities for the firm’s own account as well as for institutional and private joint ventures with Scully and fee assignments. He is a graduate of Villanova University School of Business, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance.
Michael is a licensed real estate broker in the states of Pennsylvania and New Jersey and a member of the National Association of Realtors, the National Multi Housing Council (Board of Directors), the Institute of Real Estate Management, the Philadelphia Board of Realtors and the Apartment Association of Greater Philadelphia for which he has been a member of the Board of Directors since 1998. He is a Certified Property Manager, designated by the Institute of Real Estate Management of the National Association of Realtors and is a past President of the Institute’s Philadelphia Area Chapter #3.
Since 1988, he has served on the Board of Trustees of Abington Memorial Hospital, a Philadelphia area acute care teaching hospital. Michael is a member of the Villanova University Center for Real Estate Advisory Council, a member of the VSB Dean’s Advisory Council and a member of the Advisory Board of The John F. Scarpa Center for Law and Entrepreneurship. Real Estate Forum Magazine, a national publication, recently named Michael a “Philadelphia Real Estate Icon”.
As President of Scully Company, Jessica Scully oversees all aspects of our business, including operations, finance, client relationships, consulting services, strategy, and culture. She has lived and breathed multifamily real estate her entire life and is so proud to represent the 3rd generation of Scully family ownership today.
The "Scully Pride" Jessica has fostered here has been celebrated with multiple accolades, including Smart CEO's Corporate Culture Awards, The Philadelphia Business Journal's Best Places to Work Award, and The Mid-Atlantic Real Estate Journal's Best Places to Work. Scully Company was also named a Top Family-Owned Business by the Philadelphia Business Journal and recognized with The Philadelphia Inquirer's Family-Owned Business Award. Jessica has also been honored as a Top Female CEO by SmartCEO magazine.
Jessica served on the Board of Directors for the Pennsylvania Apartment Association East, where she was also a past President. She's served on the National Apartment Association Board of Directors as the Region IV Vice President and currently serves as a Villanova University Center for Real Estate Advisory Council member. Jessica is an active member of the Philadelphia Chapter of the Young Presidents' Organization (YPO) and enjoys mentoring high-potential young professionals.
Jessica graduated from Villanova University with a Bachelor of Arts degree and holds a CPM® designation through the Institute of Real Estate Management. She loves spending time with her family and dog, whether on the beach or at home. She can’t resist a good Netflix binge, either.
Linda Hart, CPA®
Chief Financial Officer
Linda Hart brings over 30 years of experience in finance and accounting to her role as Chief Financial Officer at Scully Company. Her specialty in commercial real estate and construction, as well as her tireless dedication to directing the fiscal functions of the company, ensures Scully is always in accordance with best accounting practices and at the top of our game.
On any given day, you’ll find Linda creating financial operating controls, leading financial analysis, ensuring the safeguarding of assets, and supervising cash flow here at Scully. An ambassador for yearly growth, Linda also leads short to long-term strategic planning and business development initiatives for the company.
In her free time, Linda finds joy when she's gardening, riding her bike and working on DIY projects with her husband and three daughters.
Linda holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia.
Managing Director of Investments
James Conway is responsible for growing our portfolio at Scully Company, applying his energy and expertise to strategic investment opportunities from acquisition through development.
After successfully running his own multifamily property management company for over 20 years, Jim brought his intimate market and operational knowledge to Scully. His unique experience and skill set have a proven track record for positioning Scully, its investors, and partners for successful and lucrative deals.
When he's not spending quality time with his family, James has perfected the art of never sitting still by competing in offshore fishing tournaments, riding motorcycles, surfing, and skiing.
James attended the University of Tampa and holds his CPM® from The Institute of Real Estate Management.
Managing Director of Investments
John Schonborn is integral to growing our investment portfolio here at Scully Company, leading the charge in evaluating new opportunities, closing on properties, and expanding our brand to emerging markets.
With his extensive background in investment and asset management across all major asset classes, John's analytical skills and deep market knowledge ensure the Scully team is current regarding the latest real estate trends, connected to industry leadership, and strategic about our investments.
In his free time, John can be found playing tennis, working on his burgeoning golf game, traveling, and cooking with his family while his two dogs observe (that's code for beg).
John graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Tufts University and is a member of ULI and MAA.
Vice President of People and Performance
Steve is the ambassador of talent experience here at Scully Company. With an emphasis on people, culture and workplace strategies, Steve holds a variety of different roles that transcend the typical definition of an HR leader.
An experienced change management agent dedicated to building and retaining an exceptional team of professionals, Steve serves as a data focused strategist, team builder and culture creator who reinforces company values and maximizes employee potential. On any given day, Steve can be seen poring over data analytics, crafting leadership development plans, coordinating culture committee initiatives, or collaborating with employees throughout the organization.
In his down time, Steve loves a good movie, a great home improvement project, and time spent hanging out by the pool with his family, dogs obviously included.
Steve graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Corporate and Organizational Development and Human Resource Management. He holds certifications from the Society of Human Resources Management (SPHR) and the World-at-Work Society of Certified Professional-Compensation.
Chief Technology Officer
As Chief Technology Officer, Wayne Greagori excels in creating effective long-term technology solutions here at Scully Company.
Wayne brings eighteen plus years of technical, program, and project management skills to his role and an innovative mindset for implementing best business practices across each of the entities in our portfolio.
A proud member of the United States Marine Corps, Wayne enjoys paddle boarding, mountain biking, and spending time with his ride-or-die main girl Mila, a Belgian Malinois.
Wayne has various degrees in computer science, including a Master of Information Systems Management with a concentration in Project Management, MBA in Information Systems Management, and BS in Computer Information Security from DeVry University.
Director of Learning and Development
With over twenty-five years’ experience in learning and development, Gennifer Calise’s commitment to employee learning and leadership training has propelled Scully Company to a Top Workplace accolade and our talent to the top of our industry.
On any given day you’ll find Gennifer implementing comprehensive learning and development strategies that align with our strategic growth plan, designing skill-based training courses, supporting strong company-wide leadership, and developing employee engagement and retention initiatives.
Gennifer holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Textual Studies from Syracuse University, with a concentration in Drama. When she wasn’t bearing the cold weather and cheering on the Orangemen, she was a Founding Member of the Syracuse University Writing Panel and a Sociology Student Teacher. Gennifer’s certifications include Education Member for the Pennsylvania Apartment Association, Communispond Executive Presentation Skills Certification and Instructional Design at Macy’s Institute, both in NYC.
Director of Sales & Marketing
As Director of Sales and Marketing, Renee McIntyre leads development of all real estate sales and marketing strategies for Scully Company, along with each of the individual brands within our portfolio.
A true team player, Renee lives her life by the motto “how you do anything, is how you do everything”. She strategically aligns every project with our overall mission while overseeing portfolio occupancy and developing supplemental strategies to maximize revenue.
During her 12 minutes of spare time each year, Renee loves unwinding with a fine glass of wine, crushing it at family game night and beating last years’ time at the Broad Street Run.
Renee is a Certified Training Facilitator for the National Apartment Association and has a Bachelor of Science in Tourism and Hospitality from Temple University in Philadelphia.
Digital Marketing Director
Carl Franke specializes in digital and social strategy for both Scully Company and our portfolio, bringing 20 years of digital expertise to all stages of the marketing funnel. With his 15+-year focus on multifamily housing, he’s our go-to when looking for new opportunities to connect our brands with people and make a lasting impression.
You can always find Carl online, building targeting strategy for bringing new audiences into our digital ecosystem while creating content that’s always on brand and in sync with best practices for the web. He’s versed in the latest technologies and the best methodologies for using paid media social strategy and dedicated to finding the most effective path to ROI.
In his free time, Carl’s a family guy, playing piano, catching stand-up comedy, and taking in new perspectives from random conversations with strangers.
Carl holds a Bachelor of Science in Telecommunications from Kutztown University.
